We are currently seeking a highly motivated Home Maintenance Handyman for an established maintenance company. This person is responsible for providing basic residential maintenance for managed properties. Strong candidate will bring a full range of general skills including troubleshooting residential issues. This position will be responsible for the timely and professional completion of tasks to the standards of our organization. Benefits Available: Health, Dental, Life, Retirement
Responsibilities
- Provide basic maintenance for managed properties as assigned
- Perform and provide exceptional quality work and services
- Perform work in a timely manner, recording time and materials used
- Ability to communicate the detail of a necessary repair
- Support other technicians and supervisor in job completion
- Willing to access roof or crawlspace for repair as necessary
- After-hours calls and site visits as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 + years’ experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
- General maintenance repair knowledge, and understanding of residential construction practices
- Willingness to learn
- Understand some repairs may hold urgency and act accordingly
- Willingness to be on-call 24/7 as needed
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Be dependable and able to work full time
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
