Maintenance Technician/ Handyman

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Maintenance Technician for an established maintenance company. The Technician is responsible for providing basic residential maintenance for managed properties. Strong candidate will bring a full range of general skills including troubleshooting residential electrical, plumbing and HVAC issues. This position will be responsible for the timely and professional completion of tasks to the standards of our organization. Benefits Available: Health, Dental, Life, Retirement

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic maintenance for managed properties as assigned
  • Perform and provide exceptional quality work and services
  • Perform work in a timely manner, recording time and materials used
  • Ability to troubleshoot and communicate the detail of a necessary repair
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

  • 1-5 years’ experience preferred
  • Ability to prepare, write and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
  • General maintenance repair knowledge, and understanding of residential construction practices
  • Willingness to learn
  • Must provide own tools necessary for basic maintenance functions
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation 
  • Be dependable and able to work full time
      
Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
