The Maintenance Worker I is an entry Level position. This position requires a self-starter learning an overview of the Maintenance and remodeling field in a residential setting. Under supervision, this position will assist and provide entry level support to Maintenance Technician(s) II on the job, learning how to provide quality service. Work May be performed independently or as part of the maintenance team. This position operates within and contributes to an environment with Fair Housing laws and Equal Employment Opportunity.

Responsibilities

Provide basic maintenance for managed properties as assigned
Perform and provide exceptional quality work and services
Perform work correctly and in a timely manner
After-hours calls and site visits as necessary
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

0-1 years’ experience
Ability to prepare, write and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
Some general maintenance and repair knowledge
Willingness to learn
Must provide own tools necessary for basic maintenance functions and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
Willingness to be on-call 24/7

This position will be paid by billable hours and may occasionally be required to be on-call 24/7

Compensation: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
