We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Cleaning/Grounds Technician for Real Property Management-Richmond Metro. Strong candidates will bring a full range of knowledge in general cleaning and refuse collection. The Cleaning/Grounds Technician will perform tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Tasks include maintaining grounds of multi family residential properties, turnover trash outs, property evaluations and other duties as assigned. This position will be responsible for the timely and professional completion of tasks to the standards of the Real Property Management Richmond Metro organization.

  • Perform work in a timely manner and provide exceptional quality of work
  • Schedule, communicate and perform property evaluations
  • Maintain the established customer service standards for both owners and residents
  • Promptly respond, pursue, and resolve issues

  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
  • After-hours calls and site visits as necessary
  • Must be able to pass a background check

  • Other duties as assigned
  • 1-2 years’ Maintenance experience 
  • Handyman certification preferred but not required
  • Ability to prepare, write and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff
  • General maintenance and repair knowledge
  • Willingness to learn
  • Must provide own tools necessary for basic maintenance functions and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Willingness to be on-call 24/7 but rarely needed
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
