The Leasing Agent is responsible for direct interaction with prospective and current customer tenants. This position is often the face of Real Property Management Summit. The role touches the leasing process from introduction through occupancy and is responsible for maintaining trust and communication from onboarding of the resident through the duration of their tenancy.
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1.     Handling inquiries from prospective tenants
2.     Recording and maintaining prospective tenant information in the agency database
3.     Partnering with the Property Manager to prepare advertisements for available rental properties
4.     Maintaining an accurate, up-to-date record of available rental properties
5.     Demonstrating available rental properties to prospective tenants
6.     Preparing incoming property condition reports
7.     Responsible to submit weekly feedback from prospective renters for vacant properties
8.     Entering lease agreements/creating leases
9.     Providing feedback for and participating in continuous improvement of procedures and processes

4.     Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
5.     Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
6.     Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
 
The Leasing Agent is highly organized with strong time management skills and an understanding of prioritization. Naturally driven to provide excellent customer service and to instill trust, the Leasing Agent is a natural communicator with good negotiation skills, the ability to work independently, and a professional demeanor.
 
REQUIREMENTS
1.     Must be a Licensed Real Estate Agent
2.     Some experience in sales/marketing or a service-related industry
3.     Computer proficiency—Microsoft Office
4.     Local area knowledge
5.     Managing referrals across departments
6.     Competency in, or the ability to become competent in, the following:
·       Landlord/Tenant Act
·       Anti-Discrimination Act 
·       Building Maintenance
 
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS                                                        
1.     Minimum vacancy factor objectives met
2.     Monthly leasing targets met
3.     Established customer service standards maintained
4.     Vacancies are minimized and maintained within acceptable time lines 



REQUIREMENTS

  1. Licensed Real Estate Agent required
  2. Some experience in sales/marketing or a service-related industry a plus
  3. Computer proficiency—Microsoft Office
  4. Local area knowledge
Compensation: $25,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
