NOTE: This is a remote position. However, you must live in Pittsburgh. Property Managers periodically need to visit our properties.
- Hands-on management of property portfolio
- Management of leases
- Partnering with the Leasing Agent to prepare advertisements for available rental properties
- Maintaining regular, close contact with current owners and tenants
- Conducting periodic inspections of managed properties
- Managing portfolio correspondence
- Preparing rental arrears tracker
- Executing appropriate actions against tenants in arrears
- Authorizing payment of client invoices
- Managing client insurance claims and payments
- Auditing monthly and yearly rental statements
- Performing rent reviews
- Preparing outgoing property condition reports
- Entering management agreements/creating portfolios and properties
- Attending and participating in office meetings
- Attending and participating in training sessions
- Adhering to all procedures required in this role
- Providing feedback for and participating in continuous improvement of procedures and processes
- Highly detail-oriented and organized in work
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from the manager to accomplish objectives
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, and problem-solving.
